About Me:
Hello, my name is Robyn Frost and have 20 years experience in the care industry, having worked in a broad range of settings, including hospitals, care homes, community and live-in care. In the last 4 years I have been employed as a PA, working with high level spinal cord injuries. I also have several years experience working with dementia on a hospital ward, frail care in care home settings. I worked in the community for a number of years where, again, I came across a wide range of people with differing needs.
Interests
Food: oooh, I do like food very much indeed. My personal preferences range from salads to roasts to all things sweet. I can whip up a meal to most peoples preferences and love lots of colour on a plate.
Music: I have learned to enjoy all manner of different musical genres and even attended an Andre Rieu concert after watching him with a client. Music is almost always the best therapy for uplifting, creating positive energy and a general feel good time. Whatever your preference, I bet I can get into it too.
TV: TV is not my thing, but if I am going to watch it I enjoy a good drama, good comedy and documentaries. The news can a bit depressing I feel, but the weather forecast is always worth a watch.
Films: Films - I can take em or leave em - but I'll happily sit and watch one with you if that's what you would like to do. A good production, well directed with a few A-listers and one is almost guaranteed a pleasant couple of hours of entertainment.
Books: I love books, although these days I tend to be too busy and rely on Audible for my reading time. Of late I seem to be enjoying historical novels, preferably well researched and as accurate to the era as possible.
Days Out: Beaches, coastal path walks, forests - these are some of my favourite days out. Also shopping, a drive around the countryside visiting national trust properties and visiting garden centres. Mmmm, nice.
Other Interests: I love gardening, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, body surfing, kayaking, spending time with my family and friends. I have a broad range of interests and enjoy learning new things online, creating content and generally keeping myself busy, interested and engaged with life and what it has to offer.
