My names Michelle I'm 33 years old I've got 3 children who are now in full time education, my husband is being medically discharged from the rag due to ptsd so now I want to get back into work and I loved working with the elderly I've worked in 3 different homes in Scotland 1was in the day centre and the others in a specialist dementia homes doing day to day things like showering,bathing,feeding,dressings,hospital or doctors appointments temperature checks, fun and games to keep them occupied, day trips, and much more which I really enjoyed I felt I was making a difference to them helping them out and keeping them company when every needed. I'm hard working,friendly,approachable,keen to learn,motivated,punctual, supportive, helpful. Not afraid of hard work.caring, kind. I'm hoist transfer trained, manual handling, basic first aid, Stand and assist trained, moving so and handling trained.i also helped care for both my nans when they were dying of cancer as they felt more relaxed with me helping them.

I've worked in 3 different homes my 1st being in the day centre doing different meal preps, activitys, hygiene care if needed. The other 2 were In special dementia care homes doing hygiene care on a daily basis, feeding and food prep, activities, day trip, doctor or hospital apps, temperature checks,toiletting, hoist transfers, manual handing transfers stand and assist transfers.
