About Me:
Dear Customer,
I have recently been employed as a live-in-carer for an elderly gentleman in Kent. I was employed full time and remained there for a time of six months. I am now available for full time employment and would consider taking care of more than one person in a household.
I am an experienced carer as I have also worked in a nursing home for the elderly and a hospital environment.
I am familiar with moving and handling equipment, and trained in all aspects of health care. I have a range of clinical skills which includes assisting patients with eating and drinking.
I am a quite person with a friendly nature and am able to listen to requests made to ensure that a calm atmosphere is maintained.
I do not drink, smoke, or have never been involved with the misuse of medication. This ensures that the employing family can be assured that their relative is being cared for by a mature responsible adult.
I enjoy care work and find the work rewarding and also like to be involved with ensuring a clean tidy environment. I also like to cook nutritional meals, to meet the requirements of the individual.
My hobbies are walking and study. I have recently updated my training to obtain a certificate in phlebotomy.
