I have a full clear dbs , glowing references, I have experience with supporting people with learning disabilities, people who have MS, epilepsy, dementia and people who have suffered strokes ,I have worked in a residential setting , supported living and out in the community supporting people within there own homes, I have excellent references from clients I have supported in the community. I have been a deputy manager for the last 12 months , carrying out risk assesments , keeping the people I support safe , putting together person centred plans to support them to live the life they choose to live.
I have my own car with business insurance I am able to support people out in the community for day trips or general shopping .
I have 15 years experience I first started as night waker for Mencap society I worked for them for 10 years, in a 9 bedded residential home, I have worked in supported living and out in the community.

Manual handling , safeguarding, epilepsy,dementia,challenging behaviour , pressure care , mental health, level 2 in autism, Hr ,infection control,first aid level 2 ,food hygiene,fire safety, health and safety ,deprivation of liberty,record training ,breakaway training , I hold a nvq level 2 and I now have a level 5 diploma in health and social care management.

Interests

Food: I enjoy a traditional Sunday roast with suet pudding, I like to go out for meals and I enjoy Chinese food.

Music: I love Music this makes me happy , all types of music I don't like heavy metal.

TV: I love the soaps EastEnders, and coronation street.
Only fools and Horses is my all time favourite.

Films: My favourite film is a star born , I enjoy going to the cinema. I like True films. I also like thrillers.

Days Out: I love going to the Beach in the Summer , or going to Looe and Paignton.

Other Interests: I love to travel and 1 have one holiday a year.
