Days Out: Trips to garden centres, the beach and mum loves dogs too so going out in the park is wonderful for her.
Details:
Helena is my mother and from March we will need someone on hand/living with her to care and look out for her. Mum is still fairly able bodied but she is forgets things; she has Alzheimer's.
The role should not be physically very demanding on you, as mentioned she can get to the bathroom, go to bed etc Meal prep help would be useful but the most important aspect is that you have a patience and calm demeanor so that when she gets flustered/forget you can be there for her to support and help.
This would be a 5/7 live in role with holiday periods of 4 weeks a year. All aspects are up for discussion really, the most important factor is that you are a good match for mum. We would like to start seeing people asap so that we can get everything in place for early March when her current carer moves on.
