We're looking for an experienced carer for our father - to provide live-in care from the morning of 14th September to the morning of 18th September when one of his regular carers is away on holiday. Dad has two carers who split the week between them and so although this is only a 4 day hire at the moment we are looking for a third lady who will be able to provide cover for them in the future when they require holidays/a break or should either of them be unwell. The responsibilities are primarily to help with personal care and meal preparation. Dad's main issues are around mobility as he can sometimes be a bit wobbly on his feet, and although he uses a zimmer frame around the flat. he needs to be supervised. He's not mentally impaired - although he can be a bit absent minded. Ideally you'll be fairly local to Muswell Hill so you're not having to travel across London to get to us. We're looking for someone with a cheery disposition and good English - Dad is a bit hard of hearing and has problems understanding strong accents. We're also looking for someone who's a decent cook - we're not looking for Cordon Bleu standards here, but Dad is a bit picky with his food, so you'll need to be able to do more than pop a ready meal in the microwave. Ideally you'll be fairly local to Muswell Hill. Please get in contact if you're interested. No agencies.
