Details:
Carer required for an elderly gentleman in his 90's who is bed-bound but otherwise fit; no specific dementia or Alzheimer's care required, just moments of forgetfulness and confusion.
5 days on 2 days off: live - in for at least 1 year, in a spacious cottage with grounds 15 minutes' drive from Etchingham station.
Toilet and hygiene duties, light cooking (2 meals a day) and a few chores such as necessary laundry, using a dishwasher etc. Gentleman only requires sporadic attention and perhaps wakes and needs reassurance once or twice overnight.
Partner lives in the property and will be around to assist most days but requires respite and time away.
Generous salary in the region of £40,000 for 1 year, negotiable.
