Food they like: She enjoys salads, fish and vegetables, european recipes. Healthy food but not too spicy
Music: Classical
TV: Downton Abbey sort of thing
Films: Comedy, romantic and foreign films as long as appropriate.
Books: Various but not too depressing.
Days Out: Going to places like the Wallace Collection. Smaller galleries. Lunchtime concerts.
Other Interests: She loves cooking and baking (but has to be careful not to cut herself!). She enjoys shopping. Meeting friends. Hanging out with young people. Having her children and grandchildren visit. Going to cinema and art galleries. There is strong family support as everyone lives in London.
Details:
Looking for a fun, warm and creative person to visit my Mum who is 91. She is quite independent but can't go shopping or any outings on her own. But walks quite well holding on to someone. Her eyesight is not great and so needs to be careful when walking not to trip. She enjoys cooking, seeing her family, going to the cinema and to art galleries. She tires quite easily but also enjoys reading when she's resting. We are looking for a somebody who could visit her 3-4 times a week in the afternoons. Timing fairly flexible but ideally from say 3-5pm. She lives in West Hampstead.
