Books: Was an avid reader but has difficulty reading of late.
Days Out: To Lee on Solent or anywhere that is not too far away to drive.
Other Interests: Likes doing quizzes and playing cards and games that are not too difficult to play ie connect 4.
Details:
We live in the Sarisbury Green area and need help with elderly care for my mum who is 96 yrs old. My mum is able to have an interesting and intelligent conversation. She does not suffer from dementia just the normal ailments for someone of 96 yrs of age. We are looking for a kind, responsible, mature, reliable and experienced carer to help us. Duties include services such as taking my mum out in the local area in her wheelchair, occasional transportation, personal care (e.g washing, dressing) and light housekeeping and assistance with mobility. We need hours covered by full-time or part-time carers and will need some evening cover and weekend cover with occasional live in. My mum had a hip replacement 2 years ago and has lost confidence with walking and needs a lot of encouragement. I\'m keen to find the right match. the hours would be 0930 hrs to 1130 hrs and 1700 hrs to 1900 hrs and the same over the weekend.
However, there is flexibility with the sessions and/or the times if not all sessions can be managed. Please send us a message if you are interested.
