Good afternoon My name is Domini and I am a 31 yr old female Live in Pa. I have been a Pa for over 10 years. I have worked with all kinds of disabilities such as Cerbal Palsy of all stages. Spinal c4/5. Parkinson's. MS. Elderly and young. Blind , Diabetic.dementia/Alzheimer's, end of life placements. Quadriplegic. Manual evacuation. Palliative care. Super pubic catheters I have used many hoists from ceiling to mobile. Given medication and also peg fed, nebuliser and insulin. I am a kind person and always wiling to help others. I always take a step back to allow the client to be them self or been involved such as a companion. I've built good friendships with my clients and their families. I'm a very keen cook and is a massive hobby of mine . I'm a clean person and find it therapeutic cleaning. I've been told I'm a quick learner and only need to be shown what to do once before I pick it up. I do have references. I am available as soon as possible and have no ties at home so can work asap and for as long as needed. I have done training for fire, first aid and manual handling . And all social care live in care.with certificates I have been doing palliative care since March for Ceedar wood care. I have just finished last placement . I work for agency inbwteen private jobs but would prefer private on going . I have also been doing bank work for a care home in Knebworth . 2006- 2008 - I worked with a elderly couple in Hertfordshire, my role was general care, cooking cleaning companionship, days out, trips, daily vitamins medication.
2008-2011 - Cerebral palsy 41 year old lady in Milton Keynes. I would help Louise out of bed via hoist, washed and dressed, I would give her many medications via peg feed oral and ventilator, Louise would eat oral and peg feed, we would have days out shopping or just going out. Louise would have meds over 4 times a day. Transfer toiletry. Cook, clean, help with computer stuff. I maintained a log for Louise's day to day life. Order meds. Prepare dinner and feed. Sadly Louise past away of pneumonia.
2011 - 2012 - various placements with a agency , I worked with Dementia , parkingsons, CB , spinal injury . Mostly week on week off.
2012 - 2014 Cerebral palsy 40 year old male in Uxbridge . I would help get up washed and dress via standing hoist. Prepare breakfast lunch dinner, clean cook, we went to a lot of meetings in London weekly, days out, he would be at his computer a lot working so I would just clean and make myself useful. I would drive for him to his parents in Devon for holidays, I also worked the whole Xmas taking him to his parents, showering, toilet.
2014 - 2015 I worked for a couple of gentleman in Watford with spinal injury. They lived on a estate for ex veterans so I would do one week at one and visa Versa. I would clean cook, help in the garden and general garden chores planting and keeping tidy. We sent a lot of time watching tv together program's we both enjoyed. Take to hospital visits and shop together.
2015-2016 working with a young lady in Central London with MS. Assisting her with her day to day activities. Cleaning and assisting her with cooking as she also loved to cook. Sorting mail and emails . Helping with house hold fixing as the lady was having worked done to her home.also giving medication.
2016- (cover ) working with a lady with Cerebral palsy. Duties include helping with her house hold as she has a young daughter . Cleaning and cooking for the family. Giving medication 3 times a day. Shopping. Assisting her with activities.
2016- private care for lady with spinal injurys quadriplegic. Duties include Manual evacuation every other morning. Cooking , cleaning. Help with pressure points through out the day. Turning at night. Medication. Super pubic catheter
Oxford - company CedarWood Care-Current palliative care
Working with the elderly Palliative care.
2017- current. Working with a elderly lady in Oxford who has dementia . I cook clean and keep company . Days out . Always out having a coffee and abit of shopping . Visiting family. Puzzles cross words .
I have done online training with this agency which I have results and pass for .
I have done a lot of 1 week placements in between all main placements which all duties where near enough the same as above placements.
